Carpets have been produced on over 15,000 knotting chairs in and around Hamedan for more than a thousand years. In the city itself, carpets are knotted in a state manufactory, in the private knotties, small formats are preferably knotted. Semi-antique and antique and antique hamedan carpets are in great demand today.

Auf über 15.000 Knüpfstühlen in und um Hamedan werden Teppiche hergestellt und das seit mehr als eintausend Jahren. In der Stadt selbst werden Teppiche in einer staatlichen Manufaktur geknüpft, in den privaten Knüpfereien werden bevorzugt kleine Formate geknüpft. Sehr gefragt sind in der heutigen Zeit semi-antike und antike Hamedan-Teppiche.
