Origin: Malayer region. Manufacturing: hand-knotted wool on a cotton foundation. This rug was produced by skilled artisans using traditional techniques and belongs to the classic antique carpets of the Malayer weaving tradition.
This rug is more than 90 years old and was woven using high-quality wool and natural dyes. With a knot density of approximately 320,000 to 360,000 knots per square meter, it offers excellent durability, strong detail definition, and the authentic patina of a genuine antique rug.
The design features a traditional geometric medallion composition with tribal inspired ornaments. The color palette of blue, turquoise, red, and warm natural tones creates a vibrant yet elegant visual presence, making this rug a striking decorative piece for classic and contemporary interiors.
