Mohammad Javad Bidabadi, the founder's son, revolutionized the business by shifting the focus from production to customer-centered exports. In 1980, the company began exporting to Europe, especially to Germany. In 1998, Alireza Bidabadi founded Bidabadi GmbH in Hamburg, establishing the city as the European base. In 2018, the Rugeast brand was born – with a vision to bring handmade carpets online in a modern, customer-friendly, and emotional way.
