<p>Kilims have a very long tradition in the Orient. Unlike other oriental carpets, they are woven and not knotted. Originally produced by nomads for a wide variety of purposes, the kilims today come mainly from countries such as Iran, Afghanistan, India, Morocco and Turkey</p>

<p>Kelims haben im Orient eine sehr lange Tradition. Sie werden im Gegensatz zu anderen Orientteppichen gewebt und nicht geknüpft. Ursprünglich von Nomaden für die unterschiedlichsten Zwecke produziert, kommen die Kelims heute überwiegend aus Ländern wie Iran, Afghanistan, Indien Marokko und der Türkei.</p>
