This Ghashghi Kashkuli rug was hand-knotted by Qashqai nomads using traditional methods. It was made in a genuine nomadic living environment from high-quality wool on a cotton foundation and dyed with natural colors.
With a knot density of approx. 200,000 to 250,000 knots per m², this piece offers a dense, durable structure and solid quality. Kashkuli rugs are valued for combining strong craftsmanship, natural materials, and striking visual clarity.
The design features a bold geometric composition with central medallions, fine tribal-style symbols, and a contrasting border. Its palette of red, orange, cream, and dark blue gives the rug a warm, lively, and highly characterful presence.
A hand-knotted wool rug like this remains beautiful for many years when maintained gently and regularly.
A true Ghashghi Kashkuli rug with nomadic origin, natural dyes, and strong geometric character – ideal for buyers who want authenticity, individuality, and everyday decorative impact.
