This Ghashghi Kashkuli rug was hand-knotted by Qashqai nomads using traditional methods. It was made in a genuine nomadic living environment from high-quality wool on a cotton foundation and dyed with natural colors.
With a knot density of approx. 200,000 to 250,000 knots per m², this piece offers a dense, durable, and long-lasting structure. Kashkuli rugs are valued for combining true craftsmanship, natural materials, and strong visual clarity.
The design features a bold geometric composition with a large central medallion, tribal-style symbols, and strong contrasts in red, cream, and dark blue. Its clear structure gives the rug warmth, strength, and immediate visual readability.
A hand-knotted wool rug like this remains beautiful for many years when maintained gently and regularly.
A true Ghashghi Kashkuli rug with nomadic origin, natural dyes, and strong geometric presence – ideal for buyers who want authenticity, character, and decorative strength.
