Origin: Iran – Ghashghai region. Manufacturing: hand-knotted using high-quality wool pile on wool warp. This rug was woven by nomadic tribal artisans using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations.
With a knot density of approximately 160,000 – 200,000 knots per m², this rug offers strong detail clarity, durability, and a comfortable natural texture. A thickness of about 10 mm and weight of around 12 kg confirm the solid quality of this handmade textile piece.
The design features a traditional Ghashghai tribal medallion composition with geometric ornaments and nomadic motifs. Its vibrant red and orange color palette creates a warm and expressive atmosphere, making the rug a striking centerpiece for refined interiors.
