The Kashmir Silk Carpet 189x129 cm is an exceptionally fine hand-knotted unique piece made from 100% silk. With its light ivory field, richly detailed central medallion and warm brown–gold tones, it looks like a piece of floor art and adds a luxurious character to living rooms, bedrooms and formal interiors.
This rug is fully hand-knotted in India and carefully inspected and selected in Hamburg. The pile is made from pure natural silk, knotted onto a strong cotton warp – a classic construction that ensures durability, stability and an elegant drape.
With a knot density of approx. 450,000–500,000 knots per m², it belongs to the top class of Kashmir silk rugs. The extremely fine weave allows for outstanding detail and marks this carpet as a true masterpiece of traditional weaving artistry.
The design features a classic, richly drawn medallion on a light field, framed by multiple borders filled with scrolling vines and floral motifs. Warm brown, cream and golden shades are combined with soft beige and grey accents, creating depth and a refined, timeless elegance.
