This Sarough runner comes from the Arak region in Iran, one of the traditional centres for finely knotted floral carpets. It is fully hand-knotted by skilled weavers using high-quality wool on a strong cotton foundation.

With a knot density of approx. 200,000–250,000 knots per m², the pattern appears very detailed while the surface remains dense, soft and durable – ideal for busy passage areas.
