<p>These hand-knotted carpets have a long tradition in Iran, dating back to Safavid times. The classic patterns of these carpets consist primarily of a centrally placed medallion, which in turn is surrounded by many different figurative motifs, mostly flowers.</p>

<p>Diese handgeknüpften Teppiche besitzen eine lange Tradition im Iran, die bis zu den Zeiten der Safawiden zurückreicht.
